A satire of the fashion world that laughs at the archetypes, mannerisms, and excesses of the profession, signed by the brilliant and iconoclastic photographer William Klein.
Polly is a supermodel who navigates through a universe of talent, glitz, whims, and quirks. What a hassle it is to go from here to there all day long…! Photoshoots, reports, dinners, parties, fashion shows, and gossip. William Klein drew inspiration from his years at Vogue to portray this amusing gallery of fascinating characters. The mischievous fashion editor is a tribute, as it couldn’t be otherwise, to Diana Vreeland. Klein creates an iconic set with all the distinctive elements of the sixties and many visual discoveries. We see a dazzling Donyale Luna, protagonist of another documentary in our programming. The dresses, hairstyles, makeup, gestures, and locations make up a visual feast.
