FASHION FILM SCREENING

IED Barcelona y LCI Barcelona

For the first time in Moritz Feed Dog’s history, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a screening of fashion films showcasing the talent of new generations of fashion designers trained at two prestigious schools in the city: IED Barcelona and LCI Barcelona.

Every year, IED Barcelona organizes a fashion show, Fashioners of the World, where final-year students present their graduation collections. They must also conceptualize their collections into a fashion film that blends narrative, aesthetics, and commercial vision. Since 2017, the best film receives the IED Barcelona Isabel Coixet Best Fashion Film Award, a collaboration between the fashion school and the Catalan filmmaker.

At LCI Barcelona, the fashion film is an essential tool for creative communication. Fashion degree students capture the essence of their final collections in an audiovisual piece, which is showcased in a grand runway show. Styling Master’s students also complete their specialization with the production of a fashion film. Many of these projects participate in national and international festivals, further strengthening the school’s century-long prestige.

A selection of fashion films from both schools will be presented as part of Moritz Feed Dog’s Parallel Activities program. The goal is to allow the audience to experience the vision of young creators who, through their audiovisual work, seek to reflect the many exciting facets of fashion.
